The Special Olympics Team is bringing together 95 health managers, athletes, policymakers and clinicians/specialists from around the world for a 3-day summit, to work through 8 key challenges in expanding and improving their 5-year, $80 million “Global Inclusive Health Strategy”. This strategy seeks to address the massive inequality in health services and health outcomes for 200 million people worldwide with intellectual disabilities.
MODUS is working with a 15-member planning committee and a graphic facilitator over 6 months to prepare focused content and a unique format for a summit event in Washington DC. Build team capacity in these formats while also using cutting-edge research to provide possible solutions. Create a detailed action-plan to rollout after event.
We’re using a unique “action-planning summit” format blending small group work, presentations, graphic facilitation and detailed planning of global initiative, working across 5 continents. Fully documented with images, photos and video in an online format accessible to all attendees and their parent organizations.
