Campbell River Age-Friendly Community Plan

MODUS led a highly collaborative process to assess how ‘age-friendly’ Campbell River is today and identify ways to create a more accessible and inclusive community for residents of all ages and abilities.

Our team worked closely with an Age-Friendly Steering Committee and involved a wide range community members through extensive outreach, surveys, and a series of focus groups with key audiences such as seniors, caregivers, service providers, new immigrants, and First Nations.

The Plan identifies key actions for eight key areas including: housing, outdoor spaces & buildings, transportation & mobility, social participation, respect & inclusion, employment & volunteerism, information & communications, and community support & health services.
