Las Vegas Design Charrette

MODUS recently led a 3-day design charrette with the University of Las Vegas Downtown Design Centre (UNLV DDC) alongside colleagues, Cal Srigley and Frank Ducote. The focus was on a rural/suburban neighbourhood (Northwest Area Resident's Association) and was intended to identify, preserve and enhance the rural characteristics of this unique neighbourhood.

The team worked closely with University Design Students to develop an overall concept plan, new design for road cross sections, diagrams for new housing and sketches of 6 different opportunity sites. This will be used to develop a new neighbourhood plan and is expected to influence other rural neighbourhoods in Las Vegas.
