A bold new Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw for the CVRD.
THE CHALLENGE
The Cowichan Valley Regional District was seeking support to “harmonize and
modernize” their regional Official Community Plan, combining 7 local OCP’s, 9 Local Zoning Bylaws.
THE RESPONSE
MODUS supported the CVRD in its effort to MODUS has provided critical thought leadership,
process design, content development (written, graphic and video) and coordinated project management to support this ongoing public and political process. Specific project
deliverables have supported a wide range of client needs: from basic “backgrounder” content and educational videos to process design and facilitation of public engagement
events; from policy planning and conceptual development of land use designations and implementing zones to detailed illustration of development permit area guidelines.
